Criminal Records Bureau Checks

All appointments are subject to checks required under the provisions of the Protection of Children Act.  This means that due to the nature of the work, you are deemed to have ‘substantial access to children’ and therefore Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks will need to be conducted prior to starting work.  The checks take approximately 2-3 weeks from the date the application is submitted.  Employment with Bicton College will not commence until a satisfactory CRB disclosure is received.
