  • The animal care industry is rapidly expanding

    The animal care industry is rapidly expanding, offering wide opportunities within the fields of animal welfare, transportation and rescue.  Workplaces are varied, including sanctuaries, pet shops, boarding kennels, wildlife parks or one of the many charitable organisations, such as the Blue Cross, PDSA and RSPCA.

    We have a team of enthusiastic and dedicated staff with a wide range of experience in this diverse industry. Our animal care programmes are designed to encompass the wide selection of animal related industries - from kennels to zoos - and also provide you with the transferable skills which will allow flexibility in your career progression and direction.

    • Aviary (with diamond doves)
    • Aquarium House (tropical, marine and coldwater fish)
    • College farm
    • Equine yard
    • Grooming parlour
    • Invertebrate House (including tarantulas and scorpions)
    • Kennels; 9 double kennels and exercise area, including an extensive range of agility equipment
    • Mammal House; domestic rodents, lagomorphs, chincillas and degus
    • Paddocks with goats and kune kune pigs
    • Rescued ringtail and black lemurs and coatis
    • Science laboratories
    • Tropical House (including bearded dragons and carpet python)
