    Student comments

“The Kickstart course that I did at Bicton College turned my life around. My life was going nowhere but now I am on a full time course at Bicton. There was so much I’d never tried before but this course was great fun and well worth doing. I will never forget the course and our tutor is the best!” Jennifer Callister of Redhills in Exeter

I wasn’t too sure about the course at first but when I went ahead and got into it, it was great fun! It gives you the opportunity to do things that you never thought you would. It changed my thoughts on life and made me think twice about college. By the time the course was finished I had experienced a whole load of new things. I knew then that I had to go back to college and try other activities. If you ever get a chance to take part in the course take full advantage of it and think of your future. The lecturers are superb and know what they’re doing. It’s a great life starting opportunity.” Lorraine Cox of Exwick

“I heard about Kickstart at a time when my course at another college wasn’t going well. I’m glad I came to Bicton as the course has been really good for me and has given me the idea to do outdoor leisure and work with children who have special needs. I really advise people to do the course, it will give you loads of qualifications and it is really good fun! I am now on the Certificate in Outdoor Recreation course and on my way to becoming and fully qualified instructor.” Robin Sanderson of Honiton
