This is a practical course held during school holidays for young people who want to learn safe ways to operate a range of modern tractors. It usually runs in the first week of the summer holidays, but can be organised earlier in the year if there is sufficient demand. Course includes:
Health and safety, driver and passenger safety, tractor controls, daily maintenance, hitching/unhitching trailed equipment, manoeuvring with and without trailers, operating hydraulics and hitching/unhitching mounted implements.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants should be at least 13 years of age
