Practical Gardening NPTC Certificate Level 1 General Gardening Skills
For those who wish to develop practical skills in the areas of general gardening. This course offers practical instruction and practice in the grounds and glasshouses at Bicton, leading to the development of skills and competence.
Course Content
• Ground preparation
• Propagation
• Seed sowing outdoors
• Vegetable production
• Border maintenance
• Pruning
At least twelve tests to be completed successfully including preparing ground, planting, mulching and watering.
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications, just a keen desire to develop your gardening skills!
