NPTC CS31 Small Tree Felling

This course leads to the NPTC Certificate of Competence CS31.It takes place over 4 days with training on the first 3 and assessment on the 4th day.

The course includes:

  • Organisation
  • Preparation of the work site
  • Risk assessment
  • Assessment of felling direction
  • Controlled felling techniques
  • Systematic and efficient de-limbing techniques
  • Correct lifting techniques and techniques in safe take down of hung-up trees

 

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must be 16 or over and hold the NPTC Certificate of Competence: CS30 Chain Saw Maintenance.

Venue:
