Bicton House

Bicton College is governed by its own Board of Governors (the ‘Corporation’).

The size and composition of the Corporation is determined by the Corporation itself, within a framework set by the Instrument and Articles of Government.

Currently, the Corporation comprises seventeen governors, including the Principal of the College, two staff governors (one drawn from the teaching staff and one from the support staff) and two governors drawn from the student body. The other 12 members are independent of the College, and are selected for their knowledge of the communities that the College serves and the skills and experience that they can bring to the Board. All governors have equal status, and all are unpaid.
