Our stylish Georgian mansion, with its stunning views over the lake and rolling Devon countryside, makes for the perfect setting for any wedding celebration and reception, whether it’s an extravagant event or a simple, intimate gathering. We will provide exclusive use of all of the rooms booked within the front of the house for the duration of your Ceremony or reception and evening function. You and your guests will be able to enjoy the beauty of our surrounding gardens, arboretum and lake. Whatever the time of year, our grounds always look spectacular.

Your Ceremony:
- We are licensed to hold Civil Marriage, Civil Partnership, Naming, Renewal of Vows and Commitment Ceremonies for up to 75 guests
- We have a selection of elegantly furnished rooms and can offer either with or without a reception to follow in keeping with your desires
- Your ceremony will be conducted by a registration officer - it must be of a non-religious nature
- All poetry, readings and music used during the ceremony must be submitted to the registrar prior to the event for approval
Your Reception and Evening Function:
- We would be delighted to help you chose a special menu to match your occasion – our kitchens use local, organic and Fair Trade produce wherever possible
- We will provide white table linen (coloured linen is also available) as well as the use of a cake table and silver knife
- We will have a bar, available for your exclusive use, open until midnight (extensions are available subject to arrangement)
- We can accommodate up to 100 people within the House for an evening function. A stage and/or dance floor can be provided
- Our grounds can be hired for marquee erection
- Fireworks are permitted by the lake edge
