The Level 1 Work Based Diploma in Horse Care is ideal for those with very little experience with horses who wish to progress into the equine industry or onto a Level 2 programme.

You are a school leaver with a keen interest in horses. If you'd like to progress onto the Level 2 qualification this course is a great starting point.
There are no formal qualifications required but a basic knowledge of riding (including walk and trot) is required. A riding assessment will be needed to check your standard.
There is a 13 stone weight limit.

Uniform is available to buy.
Students can progress onto a Level 2 qualification or seek employment in the equine industry.
