Information, Advice and Guidance

At The Cornwall College Group, we are passionate about supporting all members of the community in developing their industry skills and knowledge as well as guiding them through the process of deciding upon the direction they want to take in the future.

The Careers Team can be accessed across all campus sites and provide impartial, bespoke advice and guidance on further education, training or employment across Cornwall and Devon.  The Careers Team collaborate with external agencies including employers and other education providers to support the individual.

As the we also have a dedicated Work Experience & Industry Placement Team and Apprenticeship Recruitment Team working alongside the Careers Team.  Higher Education (HE) and Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND) specialists are integrated into our core careers team to ensure there a range of Careers professionals who can support everyone!

Our experienced industry professionals teaching across many different curriculum areas enables us to deliver Careers Education using a ‘Careers across the Curriculum’ approach, ensuring that all of our students employability skills and experiences are continually being developed.
