If you love painting, drawing and using mixed media to create artistic images and want to become an artist perhaps with your own gallery, this course will help you develop your skills and talent. You’ll be using a lot of different materials and will learn new techniques and processes to enhance your creative abilities to produce individual pieces of fine art. As well as focusing on your specialist pathway, you will also experience other core activities to discover. You’ll benefit from lots of guest lectures, workshops, educational visits, live projects and presentations.

University study and employment in the creative industry, there are up to 120 different careers and could include: painter, sculpture, illustrator, graphic designer, product designer, ceramicist, glass artist, textile designer, fashion designer, pattern cutter, fashion photographer, journalistic photographer, primary & secondary school teacher and many more.
