Basic Construction Skills Level 1

Cornwall College St Austell | Camborne LEVEL: 1 Construction

This one year Level 1 course is an ideal introduction to learning more about trowel trades in the construction industry, ideal if you have no prior knowledge or understanding of the trade. Offering a general introduction to the industry, this is a great way to research which specialist pathway you want to progress on, bricklaying or craft masonry.

To work on a construction site you need to have a Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card, which covers essential health and safety, however if you wish to earn more than a labourer, gaining a technical skills qualification will provide you with a great start to a career.

You can train full-time with us for three years with the option to move in to an apprenticeship at any time.
