Roof Slating & Tiling Apprenticeship

Cornwall College St Austell LEVEL: 2 Construction

Roofing careers rely on people with attention to detail, the ability to focus in a variety of weather conditions, and the courage to work in potentially dangerous environments. Think heady heights, carpentry, lead work, thatching, long days, exposure to the elements – and you’ll be on the right lines to understanding the intricacies of this career, that can offer an annual salary up to £24k.

If you choose the apprenticeship route you will be able to work, earn and learn from the start. Gaining invaluable real world experience, while gaining theoretical and advanced skills usually by attending college one day per week. If you are not ready to start working straight away, you may want to spend a year on a full-time Level 1 qualification first to build your confidence and skills, while finding an employer prepared to take you on for an apprenticeship.

This two-year apprenticeship is ideal if you want to specialise in roofng and tiling.
