You are interested in hair and make-up and would like to eventually pursue a career in the theatre, film or television industry.
GCSE English and mathematics at grade D or 3, or equivalent qualifications.
Excellent industry skills such as how to apply make-up, provide eyebrows and eyelash treatments, the art of photographic make-up, body art designs, how to colour and dress hair as well as make and style hair additions.
To work in a realistic working environment, this could include shows and competitions as well as working on clients. There will also be a practical and theoretical exam.

Employment as a hair and media make-up artist, an apprenticeship, or further studies such as our Theatrical, Special Effects, Hair & Make-Up City & Guilds Diploma Level 3.
