You wish to upgrade your current hairdressing skills, increasing your knowledge and experience. This advanced apprenticeship is designed for people who want to train on the job and become a qualified senior stylist.
GCSE English and mathematics at grade C or 4, or a Level 2 hairdressing qualification.
Excellent industry-level skills such as advanced consultation skills, creative fashion-led cutting techniques, and alternative colour and correction techniques. During this apprenticeship you will build on your level 2 diploma.
To develop your skills in purpose-built salons which are open to the public. You will attend lectures in college one day per week while the remainder of the week is spent in the workplace. You will put together a portfolio of evidence to show that you are competent in the tasks you do every day, while receiving support from experienced Cornwall College tutors.
