This HNC Diploma in Music (Production) is suitable for those interested in either classic music production, contemporary electronic music creation or both and it will provide you with an advanced skill set in recording and music production techniques. There are core music related modules that cover key aspects of studio production, synthesis, listening aesthetics, mastering and creative music production.
While no less rigorous than a BA (Hons) pathway, the HNC is more vocational, with most assignments written to either reflect industry practice or enable you to build a professional portfolio of work. Upon successful completion of this qualification you may progress onto year 2 of the HND.
Taught at dBs Music’s premier training centre in Bristol, you will find industry experienced staff, excellent equipment and a relaxed learning environment. dBs Bristol has state-of-the-art facilities including professional studios and our classic API mixing desk, a full range of packages like Ableton Live, Pro Tools and Logic X and the very latest software plug-ins.
