You are keen to develop the skills required for a career in the health and care-related sector, or wish to progress to university study.
five GCSEs at grade C or 5, including English language, mathematics and science, or an equivalent qualification at merit grade or above.
From a total of 6 units taught over one year, with subjects including public health, lifespan development and research. An integral part of your work is the work placement experience and you will complete at least 50 hours of work experience. You will also cover; communication , health and safety, duty of care, confidentiality, equality and inclusion and person-centred care.
