We offer two options for you to start your studies in the social care and health industry depending on your GCSE results. Our Level 3 course offers you the choice of university study or employment on completion of your course. Our Level 2 course is ideal should your GCSE results not be what you expected, with the option to progress to Level 3.

Adult social care employs around 1.5 million people and the NHS is the world’s fifth largest employer. With people living longer there will be more jobs for health and care workers in the future.

Four GCSEs at grade 3 including English and maths.
A range of units on subjects such as cultural diversity, nutrition, health and safety, and lifespan development. You will also attend a work placement of one to two days per week during term time. This experience will provide you with a wealth of practical experience and will help you with your future career.
To be introduced to the practical skills needed to join this industry by undertaking 100 work experience hours.
