This City & Guilds qualification is aimed at anyone interested in or starting out in a career in adult social care. It forms part of the Apprenticeship framework.
No formal entry requirements but all learners will undertake inital assessment and interview at the College.
This qualification comprises 9 mandatory units including:
- Equality, diversity and inclusion
- Personal development
- Role of the social care worker
- Handling information
- Health and safety
- Duty of care
- Person centred approaches
To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care (QCF) candidates will need to complete 20 credits from 9 mandatory units
College sessions provide underpinning knowledge and assessment is by assignment.
Assessment to be via assignments.
You can progress onto the level 2 Diploma.
