This course is the second and final part of the Bee Keeping Introduction course. It is a follow on for those who have completed part 1 and have at least 1 year’s experience of keeping bees.

You’ll need:

To have completed part 1 of the Bee Keeping Introduction course in the last 2 years and have at least 1 year's experience with keeping bees.

You’ll learn:

On this course you will deal with preparation for the basic exam and reinforce your knowledge of diseases, husbandry skills, swarming and manipulation of the bees, honey extraction and legal requirements.

Expect:

6 sessions (2 hours per session) with 3 classroom sessions.
