Five GCSEs at grade C or 5, including English, maths and science.

You’ll learn:

About the husbandry and welfare of a range of animals including exotics, animal collections, wildlife and domestic species. You will also develop functional skills, such as numeracy and IT.

PROFILE

Jo Challacombe Technician - Animal Management

Jo manages the care of a wide range of animals at Duchy College's Stoke Climsland animal care unit and supports students on further and higher education programmes, to give them the best hands-on learning experience. Jo originally trained in equitation science before broadening her experience into understanding the needs and behaviours of a range of animals from rats and snakes to centipedes and rabbits!
