Having the opportunity to spend time working within the newly designed, well-equipped Dog Grooming Unit.

The Level 2 Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants will give you the knowledge and skills to work as a grooming assistant within the grooming industry.

If you wish to work as a professional dog groomer, you would need to progress onto the nationally-recognised Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. This would be in addition to a substantial amount of practical experience in the industry to enable you to pass the practical assessments.  The Level 3 Diploma gives you tuition and experience in hand-stripping and also styling and trimming of a whole range of dog breeds and, again, it is strongly recommended that time is spent in industry to further practise and develop the skills for dog grooming.
