This course provides you with comprehensive training in all aspects of management within the horse industry and is ideal if you wish to go onto university study or employment in the industry.

You intend to work with horses and are well motivated with good riding and interpersonal skills.
Five GCSEs at grade C or 5, including English and maths or another relevant qualification.
Theoretical and practical training in all areas of riding, training, teaching riding, managing yards and caring for horses. The second year of the course has a strong theoretical base, with students being encouraged to develop an investigative approach in preparation for university study.
To do yard duties on a regular basis which will include weekends and supervisory work. You will have to pay for any BHS exam fees and for your own riding equipment.

Employment or progression to university study such as our BSc (Hons) Equitation Science. Careers could include competition groom in dressage, show jumping or eventing, riding instructor or any of the related industries.
