You are interested in a career in the food sector.
Five GCSEs at grade C or 5, including English and maths.
About the production of foods, from raw materials to product manufacture, across the range of food groups including dairy, meat, fruit and vegetables, beverages, fish and cereals. As well as learning about the safe food production you will learn how to develop new products and assure their quality using systems such as HACCP.
To gain an ideal grounding for a career in this sector through a combination of practical sessions, assignments and projects.
Practical sessions in the state-of-the-art food processing facilities and food laboratory as well as the chance to visit, and work with, local food producers.
A career as a food technologist or university study such as our FdSc Food Studies or our BSc (Hons) Agriculture & Food.
