you'd like the opportunity to be coached by the staff at Plymouth Argyle FC (PAFC) and you want a career in football development, community coaching, fitness, nutrition, injury prevention or as a PE teacher.
five GCSEs at grade C or 5, including English and mathematics, or a Sport Diploma Level 2 at merit grade, plus a strong desire to work in the sport, health and fitness industry.
the essentials of this sector including the principles of anatomy and physiology, how to assess risk in sport, fitness testing, sports leadership and coaching. You'll also take English and mathematics to level 2 if required.
to be in college for three to four days a week, complete work experience placements and employability workshops. Assessments will be both practical and written.
the three hours you'll spend every week being coached by PAFC, plus the weekly football and futsal fixtures and your work placement with PAFC community coaching.
employment in the industry in football development, community coaching, fitness nutrition or injury prevention. You may decide to progress onto university study such as our FdSc Sports Development & Coaching or our FdSc Sport Health & Fitness.
