The outstanding achievements of students at Cornwall College has been formally recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) following recent assessments.
A letter of commendation has been issued by the CIM after every learner on the Certificate in Professional Marketing passed their assignments.
The CIM is notorious for being rigorous in its testing, meaning a pass rate of 100 per cent is held in high regard.
The letter from the CIM said: “The awarding body at the Chartered Institute of Marketing has commended Cornwall College for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in April 2016 assessments session for the Integrated Communications Module of the Certificate of Professional Marketing.”
It continues by recognising the hard work and commitment of both the tutors and students, in achieving their results during the last academic year.
Cornwall College runs the CIM qualifications either as an entire qualification or as bitesize modules that are awards in their own right, enabling students to fit learning into their busy lives.
The marketing certificate is taught on a Tuesday evening and can be joined as several points during the year, covering topics such as marketing, integrated communications and digital marketing.
Training Manager at Cornwall College Business (CCB), Hilary Desousa, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that the college has been recognised in this way and it clearly demonstrates the ability of both our students and the lecturers on the course.
“We have watched several our of learners gain promotions or advance in their careers while taking this course, which is testament to the hard work they put alongside juggling busy lives.”
