Trevenson Restaurant located on the Cornwall College Camborne campus has been recognised as one of the top 3 college restaurants in the UK.
During a glitzy awards ceremony in London hosted by the AA and leading hospitality business People 1st, the college training restaurant received runners-up prize, making it one of the best in the UK.
Already renowned for its high standards and status in the catering field, Cornwall College offers wannabe chefs the opportunity to train in one of the best catering colleges in the South West.
Clyde Connellan, Trevenson, Chef Supervisor, Cornwall College Camborne said, “This is a remarkable achievement, everyone who was involved in this competition has worked tirelessly and both staff and students should be extremely proud of their efforts”.
The restaurant which is open to members of the public for lunch and fine dining evening experiences, offers a contemporary interior, exceptional service and varied menu; catering for most people’s tastes.
Victoria Milliner-Woodcock, Front of House Manager, Trevenson Restaurant added, “The award process was a great experience for the students.
“Fortunately, we have a dedicated team of both staff and students who wanted to take part and this helped focus our efforts. Everyone has put so much into this award it’s absolutely fantastic to be recognised as one of the top 3 in the UK”.
