STAFF and students at Duchy College Rosewarne are on the hunt for canine models to enjoy a pampering session at the College’s state-of-the-art dog grooming salon starting from this month.

The new cohort of students from the animal management department that are studying on one of the increasingly popular dog grooming courses at the College this September, require a variety of dog breeds and coat types to practice their bathing, drying, brushing, styling and clipping skills, all supervised by qualified professionals.

Curriculum Lead for Animal Science, Carol Knight, said: “We all deserve a bit of pampering, even our four-legged friends. So if your dog is having a bad hair day this is a great opportunity for canine-owners in the Camborne and local surrounding area to treat their pooches to a wash and groom at greatly reduced prices, while allowing our students to hone their skills under close supervision by staff.”

Anyone wishing to book their dog in for a pampering session at Duchy College Rosewarne should call 01209 721342 between 10am and 4pm on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday to book their appointment as places are limited. Rates are heavily discounted and all breeds of dog, large or small, are welcome.
