Promising to be a night of music for all tastes, student musicians are fine tuning their acts for their first gig of the year at St Austell band Club.
Taking place on 28th November at 8pm, music students from Cornwall College St Austell will be performing featuring a range of bands playing R&B, funk, soul, pop and rock. Entrance to the performance is only £2 on the door.
Bradley Richards is in his second year of music and commented on how much he was looking forward to this gig.
“There is nothing that compares to the experience of playing live – it really helps with my confidence,” he added.
Music Lecturer Laura Philpott explained that all the students take part in many performances throughout the year at a variety of venues, “ranging from pubs and clubs to bigger theatres such as The Hall for Cornwall as well as using the Keay theatre”.
“We’re looking forward to an enjoyable night of music, our student musicians are often capable of making it in the industry so gigs like this are a chance to potentially see rising stars emerging,” she added.
